Paint department manager lacks skill and insight and requires further customer service training.

For all your home needs from DIY projects, repair materials, gift ideas, outdoor living, to questions needing answered, shop Home Depot in Volo, Il. Employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. Shopping hungry ? That is taken care of also. The store is very clean and the rest room is supplied and spotless. Employee smiles and attitude reflect the Home Depot experience.

Debbie in flooring did an excellent job of educating me about carpet and pad options. She was patient, friendly, and helpful when I needed to make a change to the original carpet order. I highly recommend that you visit with her if you are looking to buy new carpet.

Mike helped me load my 6x6 posts to my truck and even red flagged the back for me he is truly one of the reasons i will come back to this store .

The employees here are so helpful (especially after a very unsuccessful trip to menards) the employee that helped me, Ray, was not even from the department I needed help in yet he was able to answer every question I had and helped me get everything I needed for my shelf, including finding another associate to cut the shelf for me!

Chris in paint went well beyond answering our questions - his suggestions were very helpful - very awesome! Tim in Flooring the same as Chris above! Older gentleman in plumbing was not even the plumbing expert did the same as well - can't remember his name but he was very friendly and extremely helpful! Assistant GM Kevin was outstanding with all of his help with the special ordering with Tim in flooring Best customer experience my wife and I had shopping at any home improvement store bar none!

The gentleman in the paint department was so helpful. Even checking out was easy.

Customer service is always exceptional.

The level of professionalism received from Peter Dzik when picking out and purchasing our new front door yesterday evening was far better than we have experienced at any other home improvement store. Pete's knowledge on the products was far beyond what we expected and we truly feel that his professionalism, knowledge and customer service skills should be duplicated and used to train other store associates. This is not the closest home improvement store (or Home Depot) to our house, but it will be the only one I use based off how great our experience was working with Peter Dzik. Thank you Pete for leaving such a positive impact on our purchase experience yesterday evening.

No Employee was in any department help me. Only self checkout were open. That was the 1st time any asked me for help.

Tim - is a fairly new associate was very friendly- quick with a smile and was very patient with me during the time I changed my mind about the blinds I had originally selected. Give him a patch - he deserves one for sure! I hope he is there to help the next time I visit the store

We rented from tool rental and Mike (Santa Mike) was amazing! He is very knowledgable, friendly, such a pleasure to be around. You have yourself a gem of an employee there, his customer service is outstanding! The other employees in tool rental were helpful as well.

Erianne in the garden shop was very knowledgeable about plants. She gave me great tips and was friendly and helpful

Any time we have gone into this store , we are greeted with a smile. You ask for help they will take you right to the item.

The personal service in the Paint department and the cashier were wonderful. Jim G. in Paint directed us to a better comparison of colors and handed us helpful brochures, while Maggie, the cashier, who helped in the self-checkout area, offered a bag for all my paint chips and brochures. Also suggested a sale flyer for cleaning supplies which I added to my bag.

Me and my dog Scooby love going to Home Depot there in Volo it's not very far from my house at all and we buy all things for my Home and business There's a good air about that place great attitudes and smiling faces . I always leave there with a better attitude myself . There's no way I would go anywhere else even if the price was cheaper. Sincerely, Chad Schwartz P.S. I shopped at this home depot yesterday and was very satisfied from the moment I entered the store. I had to look for several things and every employee that I had to ask the location on things knew right where they were. Maggie the Cashier was very friendly and offered her services right away. I was checked out in minutes and on my way home. It is always a pleasure to shop at Home depot they have excellent employees.

I needed something specific, which does not exist in the form I needed to fit properly. So Dave in plumbing adjusted an instock item to match my broken one exactly! I was amazed and walked out a very happy customer. I shop at this store regularly and always leave with what I need. Employees here are pleasant and helpful, always willing to take time to explain or make it right.
