It's the only place to shop most and most of the cashiers are to busy worrying about socializing with each other then greeting customers when entering the store. And your veterans discount is bogus all veterans ID should be accepted!

This home depot is always so clean and the staff are friendly. Normally there are plenty of supplies and not many issues with 'out-of-stock' items. Great store.

Seemingly understaffed

We are lucky to have a Homedepot in this rural of an area but the customer serivce by the store itself is lacking this is upper management not necessarily the workers who generally try to do their best but the policies and bureacracy makes it a nuisance to deal with the store. STill we have to be grateful that it at least exists and keeps the mom pops shops from totally taking advantage of us,

Usually good service in the paint department but lately employees are rude and uneducated in paint. I spend way too much at this Home Depot to be treated rudely.

In every department I visited on a Saturday a associate was available to help me with products and answer all my inquiries without over talking so I could shop along efficiently.

Everything was neat and tidy.. I was being served very good.

We have built a huge shop, and were there a million times, we have Tum A Lum in our area but drive 40 minutes to Home Depot because of the great service in The Dalles, Oregon

Some of the people sure don't know what there talking about. But on the other hand I have had good experiences at this store.

Unless I want to drive all the way to Portland for a Home Depot, I have to come to the Dalles from Hood River for products that I need. I find that the customer service here is really slow, especially when it comes to picking up online orders. It is much faster for me not to order online and just go to the store and find the product on the shelf myself. But this doesnt help when there might be only one piece in stock, and I want to reserve it before I get there. I would like to see Home Depot improve their speed and efficiency in this area. I would also like to see that this store have courses / classes that locals can take to learn more on home improvement projects. It would definitely be put to good use.

The store is well maintained, well stocked, and has incredibly helpful and friendly staff. The store manager and contractor service desk are very kind and extremely helpful. The store has donated a significant amount of time and money back into their local cities in the Columbia River Gorge area of Oregon and Washington and I am very grateful for their assistance. Also, they have amazingly clean and great smelling bathrooms!

Only complaint on the store is no help in loading heavy items. We have spent a lot of money in the last few months on decking material patio furniture, grill, garden goods, soil rotatiller etc.

This home depot store has the friendliest employees and best selection of flowers and home goods than any other hardware store I have shopped at. Definetally recommend this store and will not be shopping at any other hardware stores again.
