The Home Depot $5000 Gift Card Giveaway
Happy to take a trip with my dad to the Home Depot although I did not make a purchase entered the Home Depot Gift Card Giveaway for my dad and he did not want to opt in for anything, yet I WON - according to the rules. The third category, I called Home Depot about non purchase and they stated purchase receipt was needed. I did not make a purchase and the receipt use for my dad was not opted in, therefore IAM the only third category participant. No purchase necessary no receipt code for non purchase and yet able to enter the receipt.

    Very convenient location !!
    I just needed small item from my small project and I was working nights. I can passby the store on my way home that was conveniently located from my work and on my way back home. Employees were friendly and approachable. That makes my day even tired from my night shift work.

      Not a great store to shop at if you are Anglo
      Didn't talk to me at all, talked to other customers and the other cashier. All in Spanish. I understand Spanish, I took it for 4 years but here it was irrelevant because I was invisible.

        I came in to make a copy of my key and selected a key that didn’t have a barcode tag and because it was the only one left they had wrote down the barcode number to be able to charge you for the key. When the team member tried to scan obviously she couldn’t and said we can’t make your key and I asked her to ask a supervisor and she said no and put the key back and I told her why would you put it back if you can’t scan it or someone can’t buy that key? Then I told the manager and he just looked at me and said oh I don’t know and walked away

            Excellent Check out customer service.
            My trip was made much better due to my check out experience Erika was my cashier at self check out. When others let me figure it out she was on point assisting me in checking out. She counted my items and made sure everything was checked out quickly and accurately. Erika was friendly happy and eager to help. Having Erika at Home Depot taking care of the business and the customers speaks volumes about Home Depot. Erika is a great asset to your organization and I enjoyed having her check me out.

                  So dismissive
                  Everyone is in a rush and I guess not in their correct department. Any question you ask “this is not their department so they don’t know” and keep it moving. Tool rental close before 8pm and the manager do not know how to close out tool rental contracts. I prefer Laveen Home Depot much better humans and customer service.

                            I went in to buy a new shower faucet, and I had the old one with me. I asked the guy to help me find the right size He told me the one I had was the correct size and then rudely told me he didnt have time to help me anymore, he was very busy. It ended up being the wrong size and now I have to return it. I wont be going back to this location,

                              I truly love shopping at this location, and their stores care clean and neat, and very well stocked. I normally order online for my convenience, and have never, ever had a problem in doing so. Staff there are courteous, well-trained, and professional. I would recommend this location to ALL interested Home Depot shoppers for all of your home improvement needs. Staff members there are very helpful, if you need it, they will find it for you..

                                    The plumber specialist has helped me several times and is very knowledgeable in his field! I had an old part and he knew it was upgraded to a new part and plucked it from the shelves like it was shining for him.

                                          Horrible experience just trying to get the installation scheduled. Each step was not smooth. I originally inquired about a security door installation process via phone. Decided to schedule for measurements. No mention that we run into an issue with the installation because of our door bell placement until after money was collected. No one followed up over a week after measurements were taken. When I called customer service they refused to help and said i have to go through the store directly (not what I was told during original phone call). They also assigned a store that wasn't the closest option to my home. Drive all the way to store and see the employees on the phone with another customer being absolutely horrible to them. Finally get to the person I need. No apology was given that no one followed up with me. Then I couldn't move forward because they didn't have all the supplies for installation. Got a call the next day they actually did have the supplies. Called back, was left on hold. Left messages. No one calls back. Had to go back to the store. They made me pay upfront with no option to start scheduling. Have to wait for another phone call to schedule. So frustrating. And again, no apology for once again having to go back to the store to move onto the next step. She also never apologized when I told her I've been calling and left messages and she never returned my call. I will not use home depot for anymore projects. And do not recommend them. They don't care about customer satisfaction, just collecting your money.

                                                  30 minute wait to place paint order
                                                  I stood in line for over 30 minutes while Alex chit chat with her co-workers. I inquired for her to call for assistance as the line is wrapped around the counter and I had been waiting for 30 minutes. She gave me an excuse of the person that could help her is busy doing a special project her manager placed her on for and inspection. I didn’t inquire for Alex to provide me an excuse I inquired so she could get additional customer service assistance for the customers. I asked her to call the manager then and she denied me and then asked the original person she referred to early to come and help. Alex needs to be re trained in customer assistance as providing an excuse as to why she can’t accommodate a customer is the wrong response.
