This store is always clean, usually always has what we are looking for, employees are always helpful, and friendly.

Home depot carries high quality tools. We drive 40 miles to get to it. Customer service is always a big plus. If I have a question about a tool someone has the answer or will get an answer for me. Don't mind paying a higher price for good quality.

Store was cleaned and organized, but I would like to have more merchandise options in different brands

We had the best experience when we went to Home Depot to look at new hardwood flooring for our home. We were greeted with the best help - Brodie was very knowledgeable in the three choices of flooring we were looking at and helped us narrow down the selections to the best choice for our home. He went on to order everything we needed and we can’t wait to get our order so we can get started! Brodie provided top-notch service from start to finish!

Sells staff and front desk associates are great! We couldn't be more pleased with the service and extra effort that we received!

Store was clean and the employees were awesome

The sales associates have knowledge regarding the products that they sell. They aren’t just people walking around and stocking shelves. They ask if you need assistance and can answer your questions.

Love this store and staff. They are so helpful and treat you like family. Can't say enough positive things about this store. Dustin and Ariel in the flooring department are wonderful and helped us select the right flooring. We continue to come back again and again because of the great prices, selection and staff. Good job Mattoon Home Depot.

Great shopping experience today! Everyone was so helpful and so nice. I found everything that I was looking for, too, with their help.

All the employees are well trained and very helpful every time i need them or have a question they always have a answer or knows who to attend to my needs with out hesitation.... Home Depot has always had the items i have ever wanted for my needs...Assistance to help with items and help to carry to vehicle or to assist with loading has never been a problem with their employees always being so polite and helpful , which goes a long ways for any business..

For 13 years, over the course of dozens of projects, I have been the satisfied customer of the Mattoon Home Depot. From “Hardware Harold,” to Jerry in Electrical, Terry “the Hat” in doors, Marilyn in lighting, Chuy, Mike, and Dale (“Keep-Yur-Tailgate-Up!”) the list goes on. I am grateful for the quality of service I receive and am happy to share my support of our local Home Depot.

Dustin, assistant manager, was very knowledgeable and helpful when ordering our sliding door. He helped explain things that I didn’t understand. Very helpful and friendly!!

Everyone in the store in all areas has been helpful whenever we come in. Recently bought a fixer upper. Many trips were made to the Home Depot. All areas of the store were utilized from plumbing, electrical, paint, carpet, just everything.

The Mattoon store has a good layout and very good staff. Just about every department has "a guy" that really knows what they're doing. I've gotten to know most on a first name basis.

From the moment I walked into the Mattoon store I was greeted by several pleasant employees! I immediately was directed to the appliance area where Dennis Willenborg was so very helpful. The store was spotless and all of the employees were so friendly. Gavin another employee went above and beyond to help me to get my $100 off of $1,000 purchase with my new credit card reward.....thank you Home Depot for making my shopping experience PERFECT!

There is always someone there to help assist me when I shop there. The store is clean and neat. The only thing is I do wish they had more of a variety in the hardware section.

I've always enjoyed going to this store as I never have had any problems if I needed help finding an item or needing information about an item. All employees have been very helpful and knowledgeable about every item I've ever needed help with. And at my age of 81, help has been needed on most of my visits.

Lots of employees standing around with no one offering to help. When asked for help, they acted put out with me! The store itself is very clean and the cashier was very nice.
