Went to purchase a new grill, that I hoping was still in a box so that I could take home for self-assembly. I live close by, so $100 for delivery did not make sense. Could not find a unit that was not already assembled, so Alec and one of his team members partially disassembled the unit, and helped load it into the Element so I could transport to the house, and all done with a smile! Thanks guys!

We have been to a ton of Home Depot stores but this store is the best! We love our experience here. The staff is always helpful and insightful. There's always someone to answer a question or point you in the right direction. Keep up the great work!!

If you have interacted with Charlotte during self check out then you know what a gem she is. Friendly, personable, funny & a joy. She is rare in the retail world and should be recognized.

This Sunday, March 19, 2023, I was shopping at HD. When it came time to check out, I went to one of your cashiers, Stephanie. She checked out my items. I then set my purse down to get out my credit card which I gave to her and which she returned to me. I then grabbed my purse, putting my credit card back into it. About an hour later when I arrived home, I reached into my purse to get my cell phone in its orange case. It was missing. I tried ringing it from my house phone twice but the last call went immediately to voice mail. I then knew that someone had the phone and had turned it off. Assuming that it must have somehow been left at HD, I telephoned HD but was told that no cell phone in an orange case had been turned in. Then began the nightmare of stopping everything on the phone, making a police report, changing most of my passwords, ordering a new phone, and feeling very bad about the whole thing. On Tuesday, I received my replacement phone and began to set it up. On Wednesday morning, I continued to work on setting up the replacement phone and encountered what appeared to be a change in my Apple ID. I was really upset then understanding that whomever had taken my phone, was now making changes to my data. I thought to myself, HD management needs to know that inside the store, someone stole a cell phone. So, I called HD again. I was told again that no cell phone in an orange case had been turned in. I then asked if the store didn’t have cameras inside to watch what was going on to perhaps catch or identify the person who had taken the phone. I was switched to Jennifer in management. She told me too that no cell phone in an orange case had been turned in. I asked her if HD didn’t have cameras so that perhaps we could get more information about what happened to the phone. She said that indeed there were cameras and asked when the phone was lost. I gave her the date and the hours between 2 and 4 pm of that day during which the phone would have been lost. She asked if I had my receipt for the purchases I made that day and I did. She then asked for the time on the receipt and certain numbers. I gave these to her and noticed the name of Stephanie. I told her that the cashier had not taken the phone. She told me she would call me back either today or tomorrow. Within an hour, Jennie called back with the good news that the phone had been found. Apparently, it had simply been set aside. I presume that the person thought that I would return in person and ask for it where I had last been. But HD is about an hour drive from my house and so I had called. Jennie asked me when I could come down to pick up the phone and I told her that by about noon, I would be there. Upon arriving, I went to customer service who tried to reach Jennie but could not so spoke to a person I think named Max and told him that Jennie was holding a phone for me in an orange case that had been left at HD. Shortly thereafter, Max arrived and handed me my phone, in its orange case, with my faraday bag which had also been with it. I was so grateful. I wanted to reward in cash both Jennie and Stephanie for their honesty but was told by Max to write this instead. I am so grateful to both! I would only say that in the future, it’s probably a good idea to also let your customer service and management departments know of found personal items so that when a person calls back or returns back for these and goes to these centers, they know what is going on. Nonetheless, I am very. very grateful to have my phone back with with its case and the faraday bag. Thank you again!!!! In these crazy times when a lot of people are being not nice, it has been a pleasure to encounter the people at HD who have been VERY NICE. Thank you HD and particularly Stephanie and Jennie

The tool rental department used to be a mess & the staff were flippant until last week when I rented again. Everything is clean & organized & the new staff were EXCELLENT. So glad they got their act together; a definite improvement!

This homedepot is not the closest to my house however I prefer to drive a little bit further because of the customer service you receive from the employees. I have the best experience purchasing a water heater on 3/18/2023. Mayra, Carla, Tanya and Fernando made my experience great. Great service

I was rudely cut in front of. Manny offered to help me and opened up a register. He was able to get the items I ordered online. Then he noticed I had items in hand. He was able to return one item and complete the purchase of items I just picked up in the store.

Our experience today at Home Depot Marina Del Rey was exceptional. We were in and out within 20 min. Brent in the gardening tool section was most helpful in helping us select a electric leaf blower. He was knowable about the product we were interested in and helped us make a decision we were happy with. We purchased a plant, a Palm sander and were out of the store. All employees were helpful, seem to have someone in every area to help you with what you are looking for.

Today i came to the autoated checkout, i was met by a lady named victoria who graciously directed me to a station that had a working computer & helped me to check out.

I purchase all my indoor and outdoor plants at this location. Big selection and very reasonable prices compared to other more specialized gardening centers. Plus I have the option to get a new plant if the old one dies within a year. Also, the guys in the Hardware and Paint departments are very helpful and efficient. I appreciate that they can re-key the doorknobs and deadbolts at a very cheap price as long as you buy them from Home Depot.

I bought a tree as a gift for a family and they had a good variety.

Unfortunately, this is the closest location to my house. The customer service has always been poor here, but even worse when there's an issue with a product. Reluctant to help find a solution or take accountability. I bought a Christmas tree from here less than 3 days ago and it's already dead - cut the end and stuck it in water within 15 min of purchasing it. No replacement or signage indicating final sale - the receipt even states 90 days.

This store, as opposed to the other HD I visit a lot in palm Springs, this store is a bit "not-as-well-kept." An analogy could be -- when you have a great meal and great service at a restaurant that needs a new coat of paint and a new front door. I'd still come back to the restaurant because the food and service was great. Again, the Return Desk is getting better. Several years ago, I had a few issues with returns. But recently, the desk has been more streamlined and efficient.

The Home Depot closest to my home is not nearly as nice as this one. A pleasant place to shop!

I frequently go to this store & always find what i need including beautiful fresh plants. Staff always helpful when approached.

The staff member looked up the item showing it was in stock and walked me to the correct isle and shelf.

From the minute I entered the door to every row I went in where I needed help, everyone was polite and knowledgeable and very helpful. Even when checking out the cashier was great and so was the guy in the parking lot collecting the carts! I got to my car at the end of my visit with a big smile on my face. Great customer service and shopping experiences don’t happen very much anymore at retail so I was very pleased to see it at the Marina del Rey Home Depot!
