The staff was quite helpful and accommodating. There is another Home Depot (Rhode Island Ave) close to my place and there’s Lowe’s too but I keep coming back to the Hyattsville Store because of how helpful the staff are. Special mention to Claudette (cashier) who exemplifies the perfect demeanor for anyone who is engaged in customer service. If I were to open my own company, I would hire her in a heartbeat. She should do an in-service amongst her fellow employees so she could share her “why” and what motivates her to come to work and consistently delivers an exemplary service. Thank you so much, Claudette.

I went out to get boxes and packing supplies since I’m moving. I don’t frequent Home Depot a lot this location was really cool. Everyone was really nice and helpful.

I love this place. I know I will be able to get everything I need to make my new home really my home from paint, curtain rod hooks, fence, cleaning products, blinds and more.

Two sets of employees worked as a team to assist me with an issue I brought to the store. First, Kelvin, Nahomi (male), and Jay attempted to help me dislodge an attachment stuck in my drill. Though unsuccessful, these three were pleasant and determined. I soo appreciate their help and the laughs in the midst of their attempts to help me. While in another part of the store, Clarence and Mario asked me if I needed help. After showing them my issue, they dislodged the bit in seconds! Cause for a group hug. THANK YOU! Great teamwork!

Nobody wants to help the customer asked 3 different guys for help all same reply ill call somebody but proceed to stand around haha hee hooo..would not help

I bought this metal shelf pin because it is much more sturdy than the plastic shelf pins which break easily, causing the shelves to topple and break my stuff.

I bought this month rebars at this store. The staff advise me to buy online the quantity I need it, and I finally my dream came true. Great experience!

I will make it short but as a young lady this experience at this store was above and beyond! The guys there were respectful, helfpul, and kind! I went there just for boxes and the cashier JOHNATHAN made my day! He notified me my boxes were damaged, waited while I went and grabbed more, gave me a DISCOUNT, and then proceeded to help me take them to the car! When I tell you it may sound old school but he reminded of how there are still great people in this world who treat people with kindness and care!!! Go Johnathn I wish him many blessings and nothing but greatness in his future he was truly SPECTACULAR! Go to the store if you want help and quality help!

this store is similar to other local stores and my only issue is that your parking lot is so poorly lit. The area is not the greatest as far as crime is concerned so having a poorly lit parking lot is almost dangerous.

Nate in Lumber was super helpful with our large lumber order. He picked everything out to make sure there were no cracks and helped us cut many pieces. Such a friendly employee.

I went to this Home Depot to buy some red retaining walls blocks and the service was very fast and easy everyone was loving and sweet I would highly recommend.

The store manager is FANTASTIC! and that shows in her interraction with associates and that translated to how associates interracted with customers. Unlike Mr. Rams. A total disaster. The shelves are always full and there were associates everywhere willing and ready to help. Power to the woman!!!!

The cashier refused to ring up an 8'x4' plywood that had already been cut at the store because it did not have a bar code. She wanted me to go get another one. Told her that none of the boards had bar codes. She crossed her arms, pouted and refused to call a manager. She was rude, inconsiderate & totally unfriendly.

I was able to get all the items I need for my remodeling project in one shopping.

Sometimes i go to Home Depot and I have no idea on which aisle to look for items. I aways get the assistance that I need in finding the right aisle and shelves to find my items. Really appreciate this. Other Home Depots I go to don't always have assistants to help and I have to wander around hoping to find what I need.
