I purchased a shop light and received it damaged. I took it to the store thinking I could exchange it. The store doesn't carry it. I requested a manager. Leesa went above and beyond to accommodate my issue. She provided me with excellent customer service. She not only addressed my issue, but provided my with kids workshop aprons and kits. Thank you SO much Leesa!

I want to report a very positive experience that I had at the Forest Lake MN Home Depot (HD) on Monday May 30, 2022 (Memorial Day). I found a Honda lawn mower on Home Depot’s website that I was interested in however I was aware that this model was not available at the Forest Lake Store or any other local HD store. I needed some questions answered so I went to the store. At the Forest Lake HD I encountered Maverick & Cameron (store employees) in the Garden/Power Equipment area who were able to answer my questions to my satisfaction and I proceeded to purchase the Honda lawn mower at the customer service counter. Here is where it gets interesting. I had multiple gift cards that we (wife & I) decided to use. I was graciously helped by Devin & Trish. Devin realized early on that because this product was available only online that using multiple gift cards was going to be a challenge. To my surprise both of these two women were very knowledgeable about the HD systems, how to input the correct information and how to complete this transaction. I was impressed that experienced employees were working late on a Federal holiday, I expected someone with much less experience and ability to process this purchase on a holiday. This whole process took +/-15 minutes to complete and they kept apologizing that for the time this was taking & I replied that I was patient and that it was my fault because I was using multiple gift cards. These two women represented HD in a very professional manner and deserve to be recognized for their exemplary customer service in processing my purchase. I was very pleased with my purchase experience and will not hesitate to use the Forest Lake HD store in the future. I am currently waiting for my new lawn mower to be delivered Friday June 3rd.

They bait you in with one price online then charge you more in store.

I am sick of gas operated yard equipment and am so happy with my Ryobi 40V Blower and Trimmer.

Employee at the store resolved a problem that was under warranty the the manufacture didn't help me with.

Valerie, Trisha and Lissa in the Forest Lake, MN store Custormer Service area were great to deal with. My sale was a complicated one and they worked together to insure the paperwork and pricing was correct. It was a pleasure to see the team work so well together.

The employees at this location are amazing, full of knowledge, or they know the exact person to go to to get the info you need, get the right item you need, plus lots of other good ideas to help you finish your project!!

I drove to Forest Lake store after not finding the tool in Woodbury. The not on the shelf yet Dewalt Pruner was found by a team of two managers and two associates. They took over a half hour of their time as a team to help me make my purchase. Thanks!!

I shop here alot and everytime no matter how difficult my situation is I am always helped with a smile and with haste. And all of the employess that I have personally dealt with are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinly seem to care about my needs. Great store!

I have a ceramic Christmas tree made by a friend of my mothers 40 or 50 years ago. It stands over 2 ft tall and I needed a large box as I am moving in the spring. The members of the sales team made it quick and easy to find. The lady at the checkout helped me do the self checkout. Thank You all.

Bethany was very helpful with our refrigerator purchase. She was polite and guided us to exactly what we were looking for. We have many rental properties in town. We will be asking for Bethany for our future appliance needs.

I bought a box of tile and they were used previously. I tried to return and exchange the box and they were stuck in the fact that I used 20 tiles before I found the used tiles that had cardboard, glue, and grout stuck to them. 15 minutes of my time was wasted before the manager came up and told the the two representatives helping me that they should have just done a straight exchange.

Each time I have gone into this store (which is about every day), the employees are eager to help in any way they can.

I asked the self-checkout helper cashier for a price match to Home Depot’s mobile app price, and she said that Home Depot didn’t do that. When I clarified that I was asking for a price match of a product that was $10 cheaper on Home Depot’s own app, and that all kinds of other stores like Target do that sort of match, she, with a very rude and insulting tone, informed me that this was a different store from Target.

It boggles my mind how only a few people know specific things for their department; of course they generally work day time hours and no one else is able to actually lead you in the right area.

Since moving to the Forest Lake area recently, I've visited this store several times and have been amazed at the friendliness of the employees. Today's visit was by far the best due to the exemplary customer service provided by Bill. Home Depot is lucky to have him. Customer service in the Minneapolis and surrounding suburbs' Home Depot stores pales in comparison to this Forest Lake location. What a treat!

Hands down the best Home Depot in MN . I’ve been to basically all Home Depot’s in the local area and so forth and this one has the best customer service and the store is always clean . Can not say enough great things about all of the employees that work here

I drove over a hundred miles to purchase my Toro Zero Mower and found a very pleasant store to shop in. The two gentlemen that I worked with were outstanding in both knowledge about the mower and in customer service. This is a store that I would travel to again, should I need a big purchase. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

If you need an appliance, see Jim B. at the Forest Lake Home Depot! He was fantastic. Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, funny and NOT pushy! It was a great experience - even spending a lot of money having to replace two appliances. He was great!

Everyone is very helpful, they have most all product in stock, very clean and organized store

The store is poorly staffed with knowledgeable people. If they can't find it on their cell phone they are totally lost. If they have it in stock, and if you can find it, it is an O.K. store. If not, their special orders are iffy if they come in on time or correct.

This store is hands down the best home depot. Julie is the closest thing to Jesus. I pray she never leaves.
