Friendly and ready to help staff

The paint section guys Robert and Patrick are so upbeat and original. They really helped me nail down what color and finish I needed and got me outta the store and back to painting in a flash. Sometimes at other HD I have waited up to 30 minutes for a paint person to help me out. This location has the paint area staffed most of the time and the employees are great about filling orders quickly without mistakes. I’ll be back!

Torrence (manager), Hakeem and Debbie are the best! It is a pleasure to shop at the store because of their work ethic, pleasant disposition and commitment to customer satisfaction at all times!

I am a single 61 year old woman who commutes via bicycle. I bike to get items at Home Depot for my sailboat and I have learned so much by just visiting and browsing. I learned about sand paper, sanding tools like scrapers, wood cleaners and brighteners, drill attachments, power sanders, paint, painting supplies like tape, acetone and so much more. I am comfortable shopping alone at this store and my increasing confidence builds my self esteem; and the staff is so friendly and helpful. I do need help finding things as the store seems so vast but with enormous numbers of products. Even the cafe out front is friendly with fantastic Louisiana hot links fully loaded.

Camille an associate at the store was very helpful...she went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I got the right things for my house...!

This store has everything you need. Every time I go there I find what I need. Some times they get very busy to help customers but we understand. A very quiet and fun place to shop for house hold things and to just enjoy finding new things to use. I would say they are THE best place to shop.

One of the best HD in the Bay Area

Simply a good experience from beginning to end from Devan in the parking lot to customer service to the young man who politely asked a manager (Juanita) if she would assist me. Juanita was prompt, polite and professional. And as I was leaving parking lot Devan was working as hard as he was when I arrived. And remained very polite. It was a very good experience and I appreciate it. Attitude, promptness, being treated with respect. It matters it always has and always will Thank you!

Employees are extremely rude. I purposefully try to order online for pickup to avoid interaction with anyone.

Mickey and Jeanette are very friendly, patient and knowledgeable if you are looking to purchase custom blinds.

An employee of the store refuses to abide by COVID-19 protocols. She was walking around with her mask fully off and eating. If her mask wasn't completely off, she had it pulled down below her nose. I mentioned to her that her mask was on wrong and she glared at me and walked away. It's worth noting this is the SECOND time I've encountered this employee not abiding by COVID protocols.

Usually when you go to a big store especially construction it is sometimes difficult to find someone to help you Sebastian who works in customer service actually help me find an item on the totally opposite side of the store he was patient and very kind

Other than the store off High Street in Oakland, this is the worst Home Depot in the area. The store is a mess. Inventory is consistently out of stock even when it shows in stock on line. Items are frequently located in the wrong place. Go to San Leandro or El Cerrito instead.

We appreciate friendly employee Imann coming to help us scan our items when we were at the self-checkout register figuring out what buttons to press. This day was December 23, 2020.

Mr. Joe G in hardware was quite helpful in helping me figure out how to make my screw fit into a hole which I accidentally drilled to be too wide. His advice was easy to follow for a novice like me and helped me to mount my TV securely without having to drill another hole. To put it simply, I was able to get the help I needed (and more) and all my supplies were in stock. Not to mention, the store was clean and the associates were friendly and helpful.

I had the best experience with my customer service clerk Debbie. She went out of her way to make sure I left a satisfied customer. Home Depot should be honored to have her as an employee. 5 stars for excellent customer service.

My experience today shopping amid the hustle and bustle of the store was invigorating and wonderful. The staff was helpful, safety conscious, and went above and beyond with their assistance than any of my prior shopping experiences at the many Home Depots of the SF Bay Area. The entire staff is clearly committed to courteous, pleasant, customer support and service. My experience was exemplary, a great example of a flawless team effort. Thanks for the experience.

I've gone to home depot many times and usually NEVER find what want, no matter which store it is. Your variety is very limited compared to a "real" hardware store, which, unfortunately due to your pricing practices, have put most out of business.

There's an employee name Judy in Gardening who is so knowledgeable. I search her out for her knowledge and patience. She's always willing to help although she's always busy.
