Our stores sent approximately 5.3M pounds of shredded paper for recycling in 2022. This helped the planet by preserving over 63.5K trees. It kept over 16K trash bags of solid waste out of landfills, saved over 50M gallons of water, and conserved 7.8M kilowatt hours of electricity.

LED lights in your local store cut down energy consumption by 98 million kilowatt hours. Many stores also participate in renewable energy initiatives such as wind and solar.

Does my local Home Depot still offer Kids Workshops?

Kids Workshops are free in-store events that take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am–noon. You may reserve your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. Each month features a unique and exciting new kit pack to keep little doers engaged. Kits include all necessary craft materials, kit instructions, certificate of achievement, stickers, an apron pin, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Visit our customer service counter or call us to order your kit.

How do I check the balance of my Home Depot gift card?

Gift cards to The Home Depot are an excellent choice for birthdays, housewarming parties, and the holidays. DIYers know they're fun to give and to receive. They can be purchased online at homedepot.com or in our brick-and-mortar stores. If you're a recipient, you can visit your local Home Depot store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you or check your gift card balance online. Our gift cards can be used to make purchases online or redeemed in-store with no additional fees.

Does The Home Depot Venice offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. using The Home Depot App.

Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when shopping eligible Store Pickup items. We'll let you know via text message or email when your order is ready at the store. Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID with you.

To pick up your Curbside Order:
1. Download The Home Depot App.
2. Before you get to the store, use the link in your "Ready for Pickup" text message or email to tell us in the app that you're on the way.
3. After you get to the store, park in a designated Curbside Pickup space. It's typically located near the front of the store.
4. Check in through the app to tell us you're here.
5. Wait for us to bring out your order and load it into your vehicle.
